This top level sales director is responsible for generating new commercial and public entity business, enhancing broker relationships, and ensuring growth of existing accounts in a specific geographic area. This position will rely on existing relationships, extensive experience in the TPA industry, and superior judgment to accomplish goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage broker/consultant relationships to move and sustain the company as the recommended TPA for most clients Promotes the senior management of company to brokers/consultants to maximize relationships Identify employer leads through brokers and consultants to build qualified opportunities Evaluate and direct coworkers who assist with new business RFP’s Assess, recommend and sell company’s products and services that meet customer needs Assist with and devise sales strategies and forecasting of sales Utilize Company’s Customer Relationship Management software to manage sales pipeline Perform other appropriate client retention duties as assigned MUST HAVE: Superior knowledge of broker community in geographic territory Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Excellent presentation skills Familiarity of field sales concepts, practices and procedures Must be available for occasional regional travel At least five years sales experience within a TPA environment, but a total of at least ten years in the industry Well known and respected as an industry leader Proven track record of significant accomplishments |
